As a Senior Node.js Developer (m/f/d), you will design and build scalable backend services that power our payment platform. Working with modern cloud technologies, event-driven architectures and AWS, you will develop secure, high-performance solutions while actively contributing to architectural decisions and the continuous evolution of our platform.
What you’ll do:
•    Professional software development using Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, SQS, SAM), REST APIs, and event-driven architectures
•    AI supported development process with Claude
•    Active shaping of the software architecture and contributions to design decisions
•    Developing, testing, and documenting the planned functionality
•    Working in a small, self-reliant Scrum team
•    Documentation of planning and implementation processes in the project management software Jira and Confluence

•    Several years of professional experience as a Node.js Backend Developer.
•    Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
•    Solid understanding of software architecture and backend design principles.
•    In-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL, including SQL optimization and query performance tuning.
•    Strong understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architectures and message queues (AWS SQS or RabbitMQ).
•    Hands-on experience with AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, SQS, SAM).
•    Proficiency in Docker and Docker Compose.
•    Familiarity with Redis and caching concepts.
•    Proficient English.
