BEO GmbH was founded in 1987 at Endingen am Kaiserstuhl near Freiburg in southwest Germany. BEO Software is a spin-off from the parent company. It started in 2002 with a three-member team with a small office set up in the IT Mission premises in Kochi, Kerala under the name of CS Techno. In 2004 with 15 employees on the rolls, the Company shifted to a new office. In 2006 when the employee count rose to 30, the Company shifted to a larger office. In 2011, the Company changed its name to BEO Software and shifted to its own premises in downtown Kochi, with enough space to comfortably accommodate 300 employees. Today the Company owns two large office complexes including a spanking new one in Infopark Expressway, Kochi.
